Need to Know Travel Tips
Passport Information
Most Caribbean countries require your passport to have at least six months of validity beyond your planned departure date. If you plan on spending 14 days, your passport should be valid for six and a half months from the date of entry. Scan your travel documents and store them in your phone or laptop, in case you lose the physical documents. Also send those scanned copies to your email
Medical Insurance
Please check with your insurer to understand medical coverage when traveling abroad. There are some mosquito transmitted diseases in the Caribbean including Zika and Dengue Fever. Check with your medical advisor before traveling.
Weather
June - November is officially hurricane season. Due to changes in the global environment, storms have increased over the past few years becoming stronger, earlier in the season. The ABC Islands; Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao are outside the hurricane belt but can still experience tropical storms and impacts of hurricanes.
